The staff at Grandview Cemetery can provide you with two types of information.
This first is a listing of all persons under a surname buried there. This printout can include: name, interment #, interment date, and burial location. The charge for this is twenty-five cents per page. You will have to "best guess" this yourself. If you know the particular surname you're searching for is fairly common, you may want to include $1 - $2. If it's not as common, then a quarter might do. As a rule of thumb, figure about 20 names per page. If you request this information by mail, a stamped, self-addressed envelope is always appreciated. As a courtesy to the staff and to help speed your request along, please try to limit your requests to 2 or 3 surnames at a time. Once you have this information, you can request a more detailed individual listing (there is a small fee for this). This listing can include: interment number and date; first, middle, and last name; place of birth; place of death; date of death; cause of death; age; sex; plot location, size, cost, and owner; deed information; vault information; and funeral director.
