BLAIR, John, Esq., died Sunday, 1st inst, at Blairs Gap, Huntingdon County, aged 66 years. Buried near Hollidaysburg. Born in Path Valley, Franklin County. Representative in the State Legislature.

BROWN, James G., of the Engineer Corps, stationed at Alexandria, and Rebecca WILEY of Lewistown, married Thursday last.

GITTENS, Christopher, son of William of near this place, died Thursday, 10th inst, of influenza, aged 25 years.

LITZINGER, David of Huntingdon County and Ann M'MANAMY of Cambria County, married Thursday last, by Rev. D. A. Gallitzin.

LLOYD, Evan and Elizabeth MORGAN, late of Wales, both of Cambria County, married 3rd inst by Rev. George ROBERTS.

MCCARTNEY, Daniel and Elenor M?Ger, both of Cambria County, married Tuesday, 10th inst, by Rev. BRADLEY.

POWER, Thomas J. Esq., assistant engineer of the Allegheny Portage Railroad and Mary Ann JOHNSTON, daughter of Samuel of Beaver, married Wednesday, 8th inst, near Beaver, by Rev. William MCCLAIN.

RAINEY, James, died Tuesday, 21 ult., at Alexandria, Huntingdon County, aged 25 years.

SUTTON, Robert, of Indiana County, died Saturday morning last, at Petersburg, Huntingdon County, after a short sickness, aged 53 years. He is buried in the family burial ground at his residence near Armagh.

HARKINS, Daniel, of Ebensburg and Mary MCCOLGAN of Munster, married Monday last by Rev. James BRADLEY.

WEAKLAND, Samuel and Margaret MCINTYRE, married Tuesday last, at Loretto, by Rev. D. A. GALLITZIN.

RHEESE, Rees, died Sunday morning last, near Ebenburg, aged 68 years. He was one of the first settlers of this area, arriving from Wales about 35 years ago.

SMITH, John, a German, died Sunday night last, aged about 56 years. He came on 22 Apr 1832 and fell sick on the 24th. He came before that from Reading, no relatives in the United States, no money and no property.

POWERS, ??? and Susan BURGOON, of Jefferson, married Monday, 7th inst, by Rev. D. A. GALLITZIN.

O'DONNELL, laborer on the railway, died Monday night last. He drowned in the Little Conemaugh, near the large viaduct. Aged about 45. He had worked only a few days on the railroad.

SETTLEMOYER, Margaret, daughter of John of the vicinity of Ebensburg, died yesterday, aged about 16 years, of scarlet fever.

SETTLEMOYER, Mary Ann, daughter of John of the vicinity of Ebensburg, died Sunday last, aged 2y 3m of scarlet fever.

DONNELLY, William (Captain) aged 50-55 years, was murdered the 23rd inst. by two men in his home near Etna Furnace, Huntingdon County. He left a wife and large family.

BENNER, Philip (General), died 27th ult at Rock Iron Works, Centre County. He was a native of Chester County; a soldier in the Revolution; and pioneer in the iron industry in Central Pa.

GLASS, George Jr. and Margaret BROWN, both of Munster, married Sunday last by Rev. James BRADLEY.

LINDSEY, Andrew J., died Tuesday, 24th of last month, son of J. LINDSEY, Schellsburg, Bedford County, aged 3y 6m.

HANNA, Alexander (Blacksmith), what shot dead Friday last near Newry, Bedford County, by a Constable named STIFFLER.

OGLE, Alexander, Major General, died Saturday, 1st inst., at Somerset, Pennsylvania, aged 74 years. He was formerly a representative in Congress and in the legislature of Pennsylvania.
