EBENSBURG, PA 1876

ROBERTS. -- Died, on Friday morning, April 7, 1876, after a few hours' illness, Mr. Robert H. Roberts, one of the oldest and most esteemed citizens of Ebensburg, aged about 78 years. FINNEGAN. -- Died, at the Viaduct, in Croyle township, on Tuesday, April 11 [sic?], 1876, a daughter of John and ---- Finnegan, aged about 12 years. FOLSOM. -- Died, in this place, on Thursday, 6th inst., Ernest M., son of John A. and Catharine J. Folsom, aged 4 months and 11 days. WENDLE. -- Died, at the County Almshouse, on Saturday, April 1st, 1876, Mrs. Nancy Wendle, aged about 80 years. McKEIRNAN. -- Died, at the same place, on Monday, April 10 [sic?], 1876, Mr. William McKiernan, aged about 67 years. WILSON. -- Near the old Portage tunnel, on the 7th inst., James Wilson, aged about 48 years.

DODSON. -- Died, in Allegheny township, on the 27th ult., Mr. Andrew Dodson, aged 79 years.
NOV 1876 ---- S. M. Douglass, Esq., administrator of the estate of Andrew Dodson, deceased, will offer at public sale, on Wednesday next, Nov. 22d, at the late residence of said decedent, in Allegheny township, one mile west of Chest Springs, a large lot of personal property consisting of horses, cows, young cattle, wagon, buggy, sleigh, bob-sleds, wheat, rye, oats, corn, hay, straw, corn fodder, harness, bedsteads, bedding, and a general variety of household and kitchen furniture, as well as many other articles needless to mention. Sale to commence at 9 o'clock, A.M., when terms will be made known. See posters and attend sale if you want to secure bargains.
