JOHNSTOWN TRIBUNE JOHNSTOWN, PA 1885 25 Apr 1885 Submitted by Lynne Canterbury DEATH OF MISS MARIE WEAVER IN WOODVALE. The friends and neighbors of Mr. David R. Weaver and wife, of Woodvale, will sympathize with them in the loss of their daughter, Miss Marie Weaver, whose death occurred at 6 o'clock this morning. The young lady had been a great sufferer for many months. About a year ago he visited an eminent doctor in Baltimore to consult him regarding a tumor with which she was afflicted. The doctor informed her that instant death would follow any attempt to remove the tumor, hence she returned home and patiently awaited the inevitable.
