Services for Well-Known Morrellville Woman at Calvary M. E. Church Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Thomas Edkins, who died at her home at 1333 B. Street 3:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon, will be conducted in Calvary M. E. Church at 2 pm. Monday by the pastor, the Rev. P. C. Brooks. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Mrs. Edkins was the widow of Robert Edkins who died Oct 4, They were married 49 years ago in England, where Mrs. Edkins was born 71 years ago last March. Her parents died there many years ago, as did one son. Mr. and Mrs. Edkins came to the United States 46 years ago and first located in Pittsbugh, later coming to Johnstown. She lived at the residence on B street for the last 23 years. Mrs. Edkins was the mother of ten children, of whom the following survive: Lizzie, wife of Newton Edmiston of F Street; Mary, wife of William Marks of Fairfield Ave; Martha, wife of L. G. Rager of Stone Street; Agnes, at home; William Edkins of Elim; George Edkins of the 8th Ward. Two sons and two daughters preceded her to the grave. Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive her as well as one sister, Mrs. Alex Morrison of San Francisco, and one brother Joseph Thomas of England. Mrs. Edkins was a life-long member of the United Episcopal Church, and was one of the best known residents of Morrellville.
