Remarks:   GOLDEN -- Edna E., 97, Madison, formerly of Conemaugh, passed from this life into the next on Dec. 13, 2001, at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. Born Dec. 21, 1903, in Conemaugh, daughter of Edgar E. and Ella (Byers) Pringle. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George W. Golden; brothers, Stanley, Telford and Harry; and sisters, Milva Pringle and Jessie Leidy. Survived by daughter, Charlotte, wife of William F. Sheraw, Madison; grandchildren, Ellen, wife of H. Mark Jones, Georgetown, Pa.; great-grandchildren, Rachel, wife of Ian Maize; and Matthew, Kristen and Katie Sheraw; and several nieces and nephews. Edna was a lifelong member of Conemaugh First United Methodist Church, where she was a church pianist for many years and a member of Women's Bible Class and the Ladies Circle. Also a member of "Madison Golden Agers." Edna enjoyed family gatherings, church functions, gardening and lively conversations. Friends received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at The Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, and one hour prior to service at 11 a.m. Monday at Conemaugh First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Joy Blackburn. Interment, Headricks Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Conemaugh First United Methodist Church, 414 First St., Conemaugh, Pa. 15909, in memory of Edna.
