ABRAM - Frederick, 77, of 230 Laurel Avenue, Cresson, died at 10 a.m. Aug. 2, 1963, at home. Born June 4, 1886, in Houtzdale, son of Thomas and Margaret (Crago) Abram. Survived by widow, the former Elsie Mae Pringle, and these children: Roy A., Atlantic Highlands, N. J.; Mrs. Gladys Baughman, Kansas City, Mo.; the Rev. Harold W., Indiana, minister of Christian Education at Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Indiana; also 4 grandchildren. Brother of Harry, Ft. Lauderdale; Thomas, Windber; James, Hastings; Robert, Frederick, Md.; Mrs. Annie Phelps, Cresson, and Mrs. Bessie Day, St. Benedict. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Jane Phelps, in 1925. President of Board of Trustees of Methodist Church, Cresson, and treasurer of IOOF. Friends received from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Normal P. Casher Funeral Home, Cresson. Service at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cresson Methodist Church, the Rev. Peter Alfieri, pastor. Interment in IOOF Cemetery, Brisbin. |
