|A Woman's Horrible Suicide.|
In Bedford county a few days ago Miss Amanda Barkman, a daughter of a prominent farmer, committed suicide. She had been attending a revival, and the excitement so preyed upon her mind that she became demented, and while in that condition she went into an outhouse and saturated her clothing with kerosene oil and set fire to it. When she was discovered she was dead and burned beyond recognition. She was about 40 years old.
