LANE -- Florence K., 86, Frankstown Road, died Dec. 2, 1993, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville. Born Aug. 21, 1907, on Sidman R.D., daughter of Merle and Sarah Emma (Seaman) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, and husband, Clarence E. Lane. Survived by these children: Shirley, wife of Millard Hancock, Elmira, N.Y.; Donald, married to former Grace Weinzierl, Ebensburg; and Betty, wife of Homer J. George, Salix; also 10 grandchildren. Sister of Hazel, wife Leo Hoyer, Salix; and Goldie, widow of Vale Wilson, Erie. Former schoolteacher in Croyle Township. Lead of Ragers Corner 4-H PDC. Seventh Degree member of Buckhorn Grange #1119. Member, and past president of Ragers Corner Farm Women and Cambria County Farm Womens societies. Past director of Pa. State Society of Farm Women. Active in various Senior Citizen's organizations. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, South Fork. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix, the Revs. Jon C. Gulnac and David Havener. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial service by Buckhorn Grange #1119 at 7:30 p.m., Sunday.
