A young man named Peter Swatzman who was in the seventeenth year of his age and resided with his parents in Conemaugh Borough, died at his home on Portage street last night after an illness of only a few hours. Within a period running back some three years, he commenced growing rapidly in _eight, and at the same time his avoirdapois (?) kept pace with his abnormal development in the former respect, as his physical proportions were in full harmony with the extraordinary size which he so rapidly attained. His mind, however, seemed to be somewhat affected, although he attended to his daily laboring employment at the Cambria Works, and it was not until within twenty-fours house of his death that he first complained of not feeling well. He did not take his bed until a short time before his death, and his passing away was as sudden as it was unexpected. The deceased bore an excellent reputation, and his taking away will be mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.
