PAUL, Harrison L. former Johnstowner, died suddenly last evening at 6 o'clock in Knoxville, Pittsburg, aged forty-two years. His death was due to heart disease. Harrison Paul was born at South Fork in 1867, being a son of the late Joseph S. Paul and Mrs. Elizabeth Paul. His father was formerly Postmaster of South Fork and passed away there a few months ago.

Harrison Paul was a telegraph operator and formerly worked on the Pittsburg Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He came to Johnstown after the Great Flood of 1889 and worked for some time for the Cambria Iron Company. He and Miss Marie Stewart, a former local music teacher, were married at the Stewart home in Sharon, Pa, about 1893. She survives him, with two children, Lawrence and Helen. Since leaving Johnstown some years ago Mr. Paul worked for the Carnegie Steel Company, Homestead, and later for the American Bridge Company, remaining with the latter concern until his recent illness. In 1888 Mr. Paul was initiated into Cambria Lodge, No. 278, Free and Accepted Masons, uniting with Portage Royal Arch Chapter, No. 195, in 1891. He was also a member of Pittsburg Commandery, No. 1, Knights Templar. The funeral will take place at South Fork on Mon., with the Masonic fraternity in charge. Interment will be made in the South Fork Cemetery.
