EDKINS, Robert S.

Robert S. Edkins, aged 69 years, died of paralysis last evening at his home, 1330 B. Street, Morrellville, where he resided for many years. Mr Edkins was an employee of the Cambria Steel Company. He was born in England, but has been in this vicinity since about 1868. Mr. Edkins is survived by his widow, Priscilla Tomas Edkins, four daughters, Mary, wife of William Marks, of Fairfield Ave; Martha, wife of Lemon Rager, of Stone Street; Lizzie wife of Newton Edmiston of F Street, and Agnes Edkins, at home, two sons, George of the eighth Ward and William, of Elim, together with 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock to be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Preston C. Brooks, pastor of Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church, with burial in Grandview Cemetery.
