HUMMEL, Milton A.

Milton A. HUMMEL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph HUMMEL, of Dale Borough, died yesterday in New Mexico, where he had been for a week on account of his health, which had been impaired for a long time. The deceased was born in Somerset County 45 years ago. Milton A. HUMMEL was a former resident of Johnstown and worked at one time for the Cambria Iron Company. He and Miss Margaret HAMMERS were married in this city and went from here to Vandergrift, later removing to Pittsburg. From the latter city they went to Gary, Ind., where Mr. HUMMEL was employed at the steel plant. The deceased is survived by his widow, his parents, and the following brothers and sisters: John HUMMEL, of Windber; K. F. HUMMEL, of Horner street, city electrician; Samuel HUMMEL of Wellsville, O.; Robert HUMMEL, of Stoyestown; Forest HUMMEL, Harry HUMMEL, Mrs. Robert MILLER and Mrs. Frank ASHBRIDGE, of Bedford street; Mrs. George LEHMAN, of Norfolk, Va. The remains are expected to arrive in this city Saturday and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
