Well-Known Virginia Avenue Man Expired Today After a Long Illness

Noah Kauffman, aged 62 years, whose health had been impaired for a long time, died at 3 o'clock this morning at the Kauffman home, 1335 Virginia avenue, Morrellville. His death was due to asthma and heart failure. Funeral services will be held at the Kauffman home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by the Rev. Orlando G. Fye, of the Morrellville United Evangelical Church, with burial in Grandview Cemetery. The deceased was born in this county and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kauffman. Noah Kauffman was a brother of Mrs. Graff English and L. W. and J. F. Kauffman, of Lovett. Besides these, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Matilda Stevenson ,and two sons and two daughters - Walter, of the Seventh Ward; Orville, who resides in Ohio; Grace, wife of Roger Gaston, of Virginia avenue, and Miss Pearl Kauffman, at home. Noah Kauffman was for a number of years employed by the Cambria Iron Company.
