Mrs. Paul Nelson Dead
Wife of Portage Hotelkeeper Expired Sunday
Mrs. Nelson, wife of Paul Nelson, proprietor of the American House at Portage, died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock of a complication of ailments. She was twenty-seven years of age last January. Mrs. Nelson's maiden name was Emma Leap and she was a daughter of Martin Leap of Cassandra. Besides her father and husband, she is survived by four children: Ralph, Paul, Arnold and a seven-month old baby. Three brothers and five sisters also survive.
Funeral services were held over her remains at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Rev. Father Egan officiating and burial followed in the cemetery at Lilly. |
