Clarence Arthur SWANK, son of the late Ephraim and Mrs. Katharine WINGARD Swank, died at the home of his mother, 648 Linden avenue, 17th Ward, shortly before 4 o'clock this morning in his 23rd year. His death was due to pulmonary trouble. He was employed by the Citizens' Light, Heat & Power Company until he became ill about a year ago. Clarence Swank was born at Davidsville in August 1892. His father passed away there in June 1895. Besides his mother, Clarence Swank is survived by two brothers and two sisters--Harvey and John, at home; Mrs. George Miller of Cypress avenue and Mrs. Orlando Fetzer of the Seventeenth Ward. The funeral will take place on Monday afternoon, the service to be conduced by the Rev H. S. Rhoades, pastor of the Moxham Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member. He was also identified with the Lutheran Sunday School. Burial will be made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoyestown.
