Laid to Rest Today. The Rev. Dr. C. C. Hayes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, at 2 o'clock this afternoon conducted the funeral services over the remains of Editor George T. Swank, who died at his residence, No 320 Wayne Street at noon on Sunday. The services were of the simplest character, consisting of Scripture reading and prayer, and the only persons present were the deceased's relatives and a few friends. Among the relatives were James M. Swank, of Philadelphia, a brother of the deceased; Mr. and Mrs. William Turner of Wilkinsburg, brother-in-law and sister; Attorney Cyrus Elder, of Philadelphia and his son and daughter George R Elder and Mrs. Genevieve (Elder) Jowett of New York City, a brother-in-law, nephew and niece of the deceased; Mrs. and Mrs. A. B. Coleman of Pittsburg; Howard Turner and Mrs. and Mrs. Robert S. Elberty of Wilkinsburg; Mrs. William McCalla, of Philadelphia, and George S. Turner and Mrs. William Chalfant of West Chester, all nephews and nieces of Mr. Swank. The remains were laid to rest in the Swank burying ground in Grand-View Cemetery.
