Lived for a Year with a Broken Back

After living in agony for over 12 months with a broken back, Joseph Kedensky, aged twenty-one, died at the county home Wednesday morning. The young man was injured early last summer while at work in a mine near Spangler. He was confined to the Spangler hospital for some weeks and was later removed to the county home. He had suffered almost continually since then and during the past few weeks had weakened rapidly.

The deceased was born in Austria and came to this country several years ago. He is survived by one half-brother, Frank Herman of Woodvale avenue, Eleventh ward, Johnstown and one sister, whose name and residence could not be learned.
