Death of Joseph Elig
The death of Joseph Elig, proprietor of the Grange store at Bradley Junction yesterday, cast a shadow of gloom over the quiet little rural village. He was the leading man in business circles there and his demise is much regretted by many of the citizens.
His faithful labors in behalf of the Grange and his honest principles in conducting his mercantile business together with his devotion to his family and his religious faith, gained for him the highest respect of everybody.
Death was due to paralysis. He was about 50 years of age and is survived by this widow and several children. The funeral will take place Saturday at Loretto. |
