MRS. E. L. SHILLING, OF NICKTOWN, DIES
Mrs. Elizabeth (Lance) Shilling, 61, of near Nicktown, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday in Miners' Hospital, Spangler, where she had been a patient three days. Her death followed an illness of several years.
She was born July 18, 1884, in Barr Township, a daughter of Stephen and Mary (Boland) Lance.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Shilling, and the following children: Henry and Waltaer, Ebensburg; Francis, Belsano; Samuel, Big Band; Andrew and Regis, both ta home; Mrs. Clair Fetterman, Mrs. Henry Nature, Francis Bailey, all of Ebensburg R.D.; Louis, Nicktown; Wilfred, Belsano, and Alfred, of the Navy. Three sisters and one brother also survive--Mrs. Augustine Airhart, Carrolltown; Mrs. Mary Kelly and Mrs. Rose Hoser, both of Ebensburg, and John Lance, McKeesport.
The deceased was a member of St. Nicholas' Catholic Church, Nicktown, where funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Friday morning by Rev. Father Bertram McFadyen, O.S.B. Interment will be in the church cemetery. |
