A Prominent Attorney Dead.

On Monday evening W. Dick Shupe, of Johnstown, one of Cambria County’s best known attorneys, died at his home in Johnstown, at the age of thirty-seven years. His death resulted from a complication of diseases, but its immediate cause was blood-poisoning, the source of which was an injury to his knee in boyhood. Mr. Shupe was a man of ability and integrity, and enjoyed the esteem of his associates at the bar, and a large acquaintance throughout the county. He was a nephew of Chal E. Deck, deceased, whose untimely death occurred about two years ago. The funeral occurred on Thursday afternoon, and the members of the Cambria County Bar attended in a body.
