Funeral of Mrs. Nightengale.

A solemn high mass of requiem was held at St. Joseph’s German Catholic Church, Railroad street, yesterday morning for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Edward NIGHTENGALE, who was fatally injured in an automobile accident in Walnut Grove on Friday morning. The celebrant of the mass was the Rev. Father Leopold Probst O. S. B., with Father Herbert as deacon and Father Gabriel as subdeacon. The master of ceremonies was the Rev. Father Maximilian Beer. Among the relatives here from out of the city for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Charles NOVAK and family and Mrs. Annie MCWHERTER, all of Pittsburg. The pallbearers were Messrs. Joseph Keifer, Peter Schuller, James J. Ruth, Vincent Friedhoff, John Widmann, and Stanislaus Tadejeski. Burial was made in the church cemetery, Geistown.
