Herman BISCHOFF, aged 54 years, a well-known farmer of Upper Yoder Township, died at 3:10 o’clock this morning at Memorial hospital, where he had been since Sunday, when he became suddenly ill. He was born in Germany in December, 1868, coming to America 24 years ago and locating in this vicinity. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma (KERN) BISCHOFF; two daughters, Miss Lena BISCHOFF and Mrs. Charles ALWINE; a son, Karl BISCHOFF, and a grandson, Donald ALWINE. The funeral will take place from the home of Herman BREIDENBAUGH, 204 McMillen street, Seventh Ward, the services to be in charge of the Rev. Dr. E. A. Tappert, of Zion’s Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Herman BISCHOFF was a brother of Mrs. BREIDENBAUGH. Four other sisters and a brother reside in Germany. The body was removed from the hospital to the Breidenbaugh home this afternoon by Undertaker Viering.
