|AGED VETERAN DIES.|
Martin Funk, of South Fork, Expires at Age of Eighty-three Years.
South Fork, Sept. 19 - Martin Funk, a native of Huntingdon County and a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home here at 8 a. m. Tuesday at the age of eighty-three years. Mr. Funk fought in Company D, Eleventh Pennsylvania Cavalry, under Capt. Skelly. He had resided in this town and vicinity for the past forty years and was one of the best-known residents of the community. His death followed a long illness of rheumatism. He leaves a wife and one brother, Henry, of Blacklick Township.
Undertaker George will have charge of the interment, to be made in the South Fork Cemetery this morning after services at 10 o'clock at the late home of the decedent.
