WILLIAM BENFORD

After an illness of several months with throat trouble, William Benford, of Rockwood, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Charles Benford, Rockwood, Saturday morning, aged about forty-five years. Mr. Benford had been employed by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and was well known on the S. & C. Branch and Pittsburg and Connellsville division. Besides his mother, the deceased is survived by the following brothers and sisters: J. C. Benford, of this city; Joseph, of Rockwood; Russell, of Somerset; Mrs. Harry Schl__nagle, of Rockwood; Mrs. William Rector, of Pittsburg, and Mrs. Benjamin Hildebrand, of the Seventh Ward, Johnstown. Ralph Benford, of South Side, and Mrs. C. S. Comstock, of the Oxford Apartments, are relatives of Mr. Benford.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Hayden Bracken, of Napoleon street; Mrs. Charles Byers, of Westmont, and C. S. Comstock, of the Oxford Apartments, left this morning for Rockwood to attend the funeral, which was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
