HARDY, Isaac. South Fork, Jan. 9, Run down by a trip of mine cars as he was on his way out of the Argyle Mine to his home here, Isaac Hardy, 39 years old and single, was instantly killed about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The trip was coming out of the mine also and it is supposed that Hardy was caught between manholes.
Isaac Hardy lived here with his mother, Mrs. Thomas Hardy. Besides his mother, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Thomas and James Hardy, of South Fork; John, Joseph, and Charles Hardy, of Pitcairn; Mrs. Ida Reed, of Cumberland, and Mrs. Samuel Brewer, of South Fork. Hr. Hardy was a member of Johnstown Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose. The body has been turned over to Undertakers George Brothers, but the time of the funeral has not been arranged.
