DEATH OF CHARLES HURST.

Charles Hurst died in Canton, Ill., on Sunday morning. He was a son of the late Nathaniel and Mary E. Hurst. His father died many years ago in Somerset, and his mother, who was in charge of the Cambria Library, was drowned in the flood. Two of his children -- Nathaniel and Emily -- who were visiting their grandmother at the time of the flood were drowned with her. He has two surviving children -- one the adopted daughter of Alonzo Rodgers, of the Seventeenth Ward, and the other the adopted son of the grandfather, J. H/ Pisel, of Somerset. Deceased was over forty years of age. His early life was spent at Somerset. When he became of age he came into possession of a fortune, and thereafter lived in several different places.
