|South Fork, Jan. 14--An illness which began last November, this morning at 9:54 o'clock resulted in the death of Edmond Price at his home in Gilestown, across the river from South Fork. He was aged sixty-seven years and his death was due to pneumonia. |
Edmond Price was born in Wales. When only six weeks old his parents started with him for America, locating in Union county, this State. Mr. Price was reared there and some time after he attained his majority moved to Juniata County, where he worked in the ore mines. Some years ago he followed to this county some of his sons and had since lived in Gilestown. Mr. Price leaves a wife and the following children: John, married and living at Irwin; Frank, Charles E., Mrs. B. L. McCahen, Mrs. Clayton Shover, and Mrs. Lloyd Cramer, all married and living here; William and Margaret, at home. Mr. Price was also a brother of Mrs. Jesse Hoover, of Shamokin; Mrs. Martha McFadden and Mrs. Frank Dentmeyer, of Lewisburg, and Mrs. Maggie Wetzel, of Centerville.
George Brothers have prepared the remains for interment, but the time of the funeral has not been fixed.
