Harriet M. Broad, wife of Samuel Mears, died last evening at her home, No. 661 Highland Avenue, Moxham, aged thirty-three years. she had been sick for a long time with pulmonary trouble, which caused her death.

Harriet Broad was a daughter of Thomas and Margaret Broad, deceased, and was born at McConnellstown, Huntingdon County, this State, on October 19, 1873. Her parents died at South Fork, where the following brothers and sisters still reside: Dr. John G. Broad, Walter Broad, Mrs. Fannie Clemence and Mrs. Gertrude Schofield. Miss Broad and Samuel Mears were married in South Fork about sixteen years ago. They moved to Johnstown in the fall of 1905 and located in Meadowvale, removing to Moxham three weeks ago. Mr. Mears is an employee of the Sunnyside Coal Company.

Besides her husband and brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mears is survived by four sons and two daughters, three of whom are attending school in Moxham.

The remains will be taken to South Fork on the noon train Saturday and the funeral services will be held in the Methodist Church there at 1 o'clock that afternoon by the Rev. Scott E. Winebrenner, pastor of the Grove Avenue M. E. Church, this city, to be assisted by the Rev. W. T. Robinson, pastor of the South Fork Church. The remains will be laid to rest in the South Fork Cemetery.
