BARKHIMER -- Joseph, 92, 257 Second St., Conemaugh, died March 16, 1978, at Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1885, in Oakville, son of Jacob and Alice (Wringle) Barkhimer. Precedd [sic] in death by parents, a son and a brother. Survived by two sons, Joseph W., married to former Dorothy Bracken, Johnstown, and Russell H., married to former Ernestine Ashbridge, Conemaugh; also five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Grover Cleveland; Mrs. Myrtle Clarke, Greensburg; and Mrs. Goldie Friedline, Jennerstown Member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Enginemen. Lifetime member of Blood Valley Lodge 381 and United Trainman's Union. Friends received after 4 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John A. Baker Funeral Chapel, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Don Rager. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. |
