John Berkley, colored, aged twenty-five, died at 12:40 o'clock this morning at the Memorial Hospital, where he had been a typhoid fever patient since June 1st, coming from Rockwood, where he was a laborer for the B. & O. Railroad. His home was in Long Creek, Va., where his wife and his parents reside. The body was turned over to Undertaker Henderson, who is awaiting instructions from the man's relatives concerning the funeral arrangements.
