Remarks:   Dr. Francis Rudolph Mellon, aged 45, died suddenly last Thursday night at the Memorial hospital in Mt. Pleasant after an illness of two days. He was born near Cheat, Pa., and was graduated from the Patton High school and the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Mellon practiced in Johnstown and Patton for a number of years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Agnes Coyle Mellon, a daughter, Demorious; two sons, Richard and John Mellon, both at home; his father, James Mellon of Patton; one brother, Frederick Mellon of Patton, and five sisters, Mrs. John Blair, Ebensburg; Mrs. Joseph Lieb, Patton; Mrs. C. L. Callahan, Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Charles Donnelly, Latrobe, and Mrs. Thomas Dugan, Osceola Mills. Funeral services will be conducted this morning in St. Joseph's Catholic church at Mt. Pleasant. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Carrolltown.
