Anna was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and a life member of Solomon Run Ladies Aux. She was an LPN nurse for many years and took care of all the newborns in the hospital. She enjoyed many years with her hubby, kicking up her heels with the “Track-2 Square Dancing Club”. She was an avid reader and had over 2000 books on her kindle. She did puzzles, books, and activities to keep her mind sharp and her body moving. Her house was always open to her family, friends, and neighbors, where many memories were made.
During her last years at home, she had great care givers, Rhonda, who gave her a hard time almost every day to exercise and eat things she did not like. Barbara always brought her favorite meal of McDonald's burger and french fries with lots and lots of ketchup.
Peggy gave her companionship and helped with her daily needs, and Linda spent many hours during the day and night to make sure she was safe in her many trips and to just sit and talk to calm her through her restless and bad nights.
Friends received 12 Noon until time of service at 1 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, East Hills Chapel and Crematory, 404 Walters Avenue (near PA Drivers Center and Armory)
