Mrs. Lovina Harshberger Berkley, wife of the Rev. Albert Berkley of the Church of the Brethren, died of a complication of diseases at the Berkley home 37 Derby Street, Eighth Ward, about noon today, in her 48th year. She was a daughter of Hiran and Sarah Roseman Harshberger, of 1296 Franklin Street, and was born at Forwardstown, Somerset County on June 14, 1866. She and Albert Berkley were married Apr 11, 1866, by the Rev. Jacob Hollsopple. Mr. Berkely survives his wife with these children, Mabel, wife of Curtis Lambert; John Berkley of Derby Street, and Ivy, wife of Arthur Blough who makes her home here with her parents. Mrs. Berkley was a sister of William, John and Ephraim Harshberger of Upper Yoder Township; Freeman and Harry Harshberger, at home, Josiah Harshberger of Saylor Street and Mrs. Herman Trexel of the Eighth Ward. Mrs. Berkley was identified with the Sell Street Church of the Brethren. Mary Grace Lambert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Lambert, is the only surviving grandchild.
