HARRY BARNHART DIES OF FRACTURED SKULL
Lumberman Was Struck by Heavy Tree While Cutting in Woods Near Stoyestown
Harry Barnhart, aged 45, of Kimmelton, Somerset County, died at 6:15 oclock last night at the Memorial Hospital, death being due to a fractured skull received while he was cutting timber in the woods near Stoyestown.
A force of lumbermen had sawed the butt of a large chestnut tree which in falling struck a sapling and was suspended in the air, While Mr. Barnhart was endeavoring to release it, the chestnut tree fell and crushed him. He was unmarried and made his home with George Bausch at Kimmelton. |
